I want to create a letter to my older Self that I plan on revisiting a year from now. I’m going to write out a prompt and use this speech synthesizer to read it aloud using the voice it generated through machine learning from the 32 minutes of voice data I recorded for it.
[This is a great idea, and I hope you will share it with me in the future.]**
It’ll be like Dom leaving a set of life lessons for future Dom.
People always talk about leaving a letter for your younger Self so that you can teach your younger Self the things you know now, in the hope that your younger Self would be able to make better choices and decisions in life.
But no one talks about the opposite.
You know… I’m not lying when I say that my younger Self has protected my older Self. And I have a perfect example I could share with you.
Facebook Memories.
Sometimes a Facebook Memory will appear, and it’ll be a post about everything you’ve learned about life and relationships. You read it two or three years later, and it’s just as relatable and helpful as it was bacc then.
Some of those things you even overlook or forget about. And you’re like, “Damn, my younger Self was on the right tracc with this one. I should listen to him.”
So yeah, sometimes the younger version of yourself can protect your older Self.
